Stock the School Pantry 2022

This year we bought single serving items in bulk quantity to drop off at schools to help fill their food pantry. Food was distributed to 22 elementary schools in Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas and Paulding Co.

 

  • Paulding County – Dugan Elementary, New Georgia Elementary, Nebo Elementary, Dallas Elementary, Hiram Elementary and Baggett Elementary.

  • Cherokee County – Supplies donated to 5 Elementary Schools.

  • Cobb County – Austell Elementary, Milford Elementary, Smyrna Elementary, Clarkdale Elementary, Norton Park Elementary and Clay-Harmony Leland Elementary.

  • ​Douglas County – Beulah Elementary, JW Stewart Middle School, Mirror Lake Elementary, South Douglas Elementary and Winston Elementary.

 

Once again Lodge 13 joined forces with Sweetwater Mission in Austell to provide a Thanksgiving & Christmas meal to 100 needy families in Cobb & Douglas County. In addition to a Turkey these families will also get one weeks’ worth of groceries as part of the “Let’s Talk Turkeys” program.

Thanksgiving & Christmas Food Distributions 2020

This year we had some challenges due to the ongoing pandemic and schools returning to in person learning starting the middle of October.  Instead of the traditional food bags to each school we bought single serving items in bulk quantity to drop off at schools to help fill their food pantries.  This year food was distributed to elementary schools in Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas and Paulding Co.  

  • Cherokee County - Arnold Mill Elementary, Johnston Elementary, Woodstock Elementary, Oak Grove Elementary, Hasty Elementary and R.M. Moore Elementary.

  • Cobb County – Austell Elementary, Clay Elementary, East Cobb Middle School, Mableton Elementary and Milford Elementary.

  • Douglas County – Annette Winn Elementary, Beulah Elementary, Lithia Springs Elementary, Sweetwater Elementary, Eastside Elementary and North Douglas Elementary.  

  • Paulding County - Nebo Elementary, Baggett Elementary, Hiram Elementary, Dugan Elementary, Dallas Elementary and New Georgia Elementary.

 

Lodge 13 also joined forces with Sweetwater Mission in Austell to provide a Thanksgiving & Christmas meal to 100 needy families in Cobb & Douglas County. In addition to a Turkey these families will also get one weeks’ worth of groceries as part of the “Let’s Talk Turkeys” program.

December 2019 Christmas Food Bags

Lodge 13 continues its tradition of delivering food baskets to those in need via our local schools. This year 120 food bags have been distributed between Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas and Paulding County Schools. Food Baskets were delivered to the following schools:

  • Cherokee County - Arnold Mill Elementary, Johnston Elementary, Woodstock Elementary, Bascomb Carmel Elementary, Oak Grove Elementary, Hasty Elementary and R.M. Moore Elementary.

  • Paulding County - Hiram Elementary, Dallas Elementary, Baggett Elementary, Dugan Elementary and Nebo Elementary.

  • Cobb County – Milford Elementary, Birney Elementary, Sanders Elementary, Riverside Primary, Riverside Intermediate and Compton Elementary.

  • Douglas County – Annette Winn Elementary, Bright Star Elementary, Burnett Elementary, Factory Shoals Elementary and Sweetwater Elementary.

November 2019 Thanksgiving Food Bags

Each year our lodge distributes Thanksgiving Food Bags to those in need. This year the bags have been distributed to elementary schools in Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas and Cherokee. 120 Food Baskets were delivered to the following schools:

  • Paulding County - Nebo Elementary, Baggett Elementary, Hiram Elementary, Dugan Elementary and Dallas Elementary.
